How-to Clean Shower Glass
- To get rid of serious soap-scum, use undiluted white vinegar that has been heated to boiling. Use a microfibre cloth or sponge to soak up the vinegar and clean the glass. The vinegar smell should disappear after a shower or two.
- Use a mixture of baking soda and water. This creates an inexpensive cleaning product that is also really effective. The measurements for the mixture depends on how much you need. You need to make it a thick paste though, and then use a non-abrasive sponge and scrub the shower glass and then rinse with vinegar.
- One easy way to avoid serious soap-scum is to simply not use bar soap. Due to the fact it contains talc and this is what produces the build up. Liquid soap or shower gel doesn't contain talc so doesn't have this effect.
- You can also use a Magic Eraser Sponge to get rid of soap-scum and limescale deposits off the glass.
- Use glass cleaner. Not only will this clean the glass but also prevent deposits.
- To make sure water spots and grime don't build up too much you need to clean the shower glass regular.
