How-to Fit a Shower Enclosure
Things you will need:
- Electric Drill
- Sealant Gun
- Silicone Sealant
- Spirit Level
- Screwdrivers
- Door Handles
- Glass Panels
- Channels
- Fixings
Step 1: At the edges of the shower tray place the wall channels and use a spirit level to make sure they are vertical and level.
Step 2: Drill pilot holes in the wall using the electric drill. Then insert wall plugs into the holes and screw the channels to the wall.
Step 3: After you have decided which side you want the shower door to be on, take the side panel off and slot the door into the appropriate channel.
Step 4: The next step is a bit tricky so you might need a helping hand. You need to fit the shower door into the other wall channel.
Step 5: Now place the shower door and the side panel on the outside edge of the tray. Then fit them together at the corner.
Step 6: Using the fittings provided with the unit, screw the panels into position using the screwdriver and fit the handle to the door.
Step 7: Seal the outer edges of the shower using the silicone sealant and sealant gun. Make sure to avoid the inside edges though.
